Building on Decades of Chemical Manufacturing Excellence
Macsen Energy is part of the Macsen Labs Group, a well-established chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing organization with a legacy dating back to 1952. The group’s manufacturing infrastructure includes two pilot-scale facilities for kilogram-scale production as well as multiple units capable of supporting tonne-scale chemical manufacturing. This strong foundation in chemical process development, scale-up, and manufacturing gives Macsen Energy a strong advantage in advancing material synthesis from R&D to industrial-scale production.
To support the future scale-up of sodium-ion battery materials, Macsen Energy has allocated 10,000 sq. meters of land for a dedicated facility focused on Prussian Blue Analogue cathode materials, along with a pilot line for sodium-ion cell fabrication. Construction of this facility is planned to begin in 2027.
Manufacturing Capabilities:
Designed for Scale
Our manufacturing strategy is built around a simple objective: developing sodium-ion battery materials that can be produced reliably, economically, and at scale. By combining proven chemical manufacturing expertise with dedicated battery material development, Macsen Energy is creating the infrastructure required to support the growing sodium-ion battery ecosystem.
