State-of-the-Art R&D for Sodium-Ion Battery Materials
Since 2025, Macsen Energy has been operating a fully integrated battery R&D Lab located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, dedicated to the development of sodium-ion battery materials and cell technologies. The facility supports the complete early-stage development cycle, from cathode material synthesis and electrode preparation to cell fabrication and electrochemical testing.
Our laboratory has been designed to bring the entire sodium-ion development workflow under one roof. The process begins with the synthesis of Prussian White cathode material, followed by slurry preparation, electrode coating, and electrode processing. The electrodes are assembled into coin cells inside an inert-atmosphere glovebox and tested for electrochemical performance. This integrated setup helps us move quickly from material development to cell validation and supports the scale-up of sodium-ion battery technology.
